A bit about OR:
- OR stands for ‘online remote tutoring’, aimed at providing tuition to a broader audience beyond just one local area. I also offer in-person tuition in your home if it is logistically sensible for both parties.
- Students may seek private tuition for a variety of reasons and for differing lengths of time. I can assist students with GCSE English preparation over several weeks in anticipation of a public exam, or I can work with students for many months to support what they are learning in the classroom.
- English is a core subject at GCSE, and achieving a good grade in the English language qualification can significantly impact a young person’s future prospects. Extra tuition in English can enhance understanding in other subjects, as the foundational skill of literacy benefits overall education.
